    Memorial Day "Wind"

    Attachment 84514

"Wind" written by Maj. Vincent Buggs

Wind comes in many forms strong, breezy, and calm.
"Jake Derrico" will always be remembered that way.
A strong force wind in combat.
A breeze with his movements in Karate.
A calm cool heart towards the ones he loved.
Jake Derrico moved like the wind and will be truly missed by the
    U.S. Army and his family

-In Memory of A Fallen Soldier

    Jake was a M249/M60 gunner Alpha Co. 1st Bat. 12th Infantry Reg. 3rd I.D.
    He loved the Infantry.
1st Sgt. Vesser said, "Jake is lead by love of country."

Today is a day to honor those that have sacrificed for our freedom.
