I'm a bit late on this one but thought since Frank ( imntxs564‎) and I were discussing it I should show you. I originally built a 5" bbl version but didn't like it so this came to be after I sold the short front...

9MM and an 8 1/4" bbl. Just about right.

I bought these three FN High Power contract pistols the last week of June but didn't receive them until after the 4th of July. Here are an Austrian Police contract issued in Carinthia, an early Syrian contract, and a Dutch contract, all from the 1950s.
