Advice please on my Ishapore 2a1
I have an old Ishy 2a1 i bought about 4 years ago for less than 100 bucks. The problem is that whoever owned it before me did some "custom" work...
It does shoot pretty well, but it looks atrocious. The barrel hasn't been shot out quite yet but it's not 100%. I was eventually going to get a new barrel for it which i found online. The main problem is the stock. It's been destroyed. Does anybody have any advice on whether or not i should try to find an original stock with all the screws and sight housing and so on and so forth. Or just go with a monte carlo synthetic and just call it good. and if you think the straight wood replacement is the way to go where i can get all the parts i would need. Because looking at it i would need a lot of odds and ends.

Welcome to the forum. Either you have to replace all the hardware and woodwork to make it original looking again or for hunting/shooting you could either leave it or use the black poly furniture you spoke of. Either one, consider what you really want. Original look or shooter.
