Nice Surprise in the mail
Have had a nasty surprise in the mail recently it was very nice to get a really nice one.
Along with a long sought PH8/53 rear sight for my LE No4 I found a John Wilkes Precision foresight tube for the No 4 and a lot of elements.
You can see the tube has a sloped mount to fit the No4/9.
Some of the elements are a bit odd to my eye. The top right one is made from very flimsy plastic and probably home made? And what were those square ones used for??
Anyway all in all a good post!Attachment 86021Attachment 86022

As a guess to frame the target frame itself, when I was shooting full bore I used round elements that had the target frame (white part) touching the very inner edge of the sight elements black ring on all 4 corners it was far easier to centralize the target that way with the corners kissing the inner edge than trying to have equal amounts of white around a black bulls eye if using a smaller element.

That's a thought, not sure it would work for me though?
