"...Looking for some opinions..." About what? They've both been refinished and I suspect heavily sanded. Lotta rounded edges. Hard to tell who made based on that. If that's your question.

Let me apologize for not being clear with my questioning, I'm looking to ID both stocks in question.
Top stock which I believe to be H&R is actually in much better shape than the lower one, wood sits proud and has some pretty nice tiger stripes throughout, problem is that for my 4.76xxxx serial range I believe I should have the 3/8 DAS as opposed to the 1/2 DAS.
If I was confident that the bottom wood was of H&R manufacture I would keep this wood for my 4.76xxxx H&R as it has the 3/8 DAS which I believe would be correct for that serial range.
