Sad to see Ian selling his medals to finance his retirement. One has to assume WO2 pensions don't go far these days!!
I think with his past and his SAMA/NI medals it should go beyond that......Sad though

Not much different from Michael Diamond, Trap Shooter, here in OZ.
He was charged and convicted with firearms offences, thrown out on appeal, but had accumulated that much debt fighting the case, he had to sell one of his Olympic Gold Medals.
