The Royal Navy LCT my Grandad was on, which landed at Utah on D-Day carrying US Combat Engineers. On the left, number 2011.

Parked up in a canal/river, post D-Day where my granddad explained they spent a couple of weeks drunk!

The Bow (front pointy end) seems to match that in the OP picture
