Another Garand Picture of the Day

This picture was part of a larger slide show of military pictures currently making the e-mail rounds. It appears, to me as an Air Force guy, to the the Marine Drill Team. Note the stock modifications. Enjoy, and thanks to Mark for his pictures of the day.

Don't blame me - I voted for Palin.

Nice pair!! One straight from Anniston/DCM and the other is a CMPicon barrel and receiver custom by DGR. Can you tell the difference??

    Smile Favorite Garands

don't let the sling and highlighted numbers fool you now....

the lighting doesn't do either one justice.

I want to know how those two Garands are standing up all by themselves?

    Other than that - nice.

DGR's on the left, the white lettering gives it away...both nice rifles.

I also say DGR on the left. Metal appears more uniform in color and the sling swivels look to be freshly parked.

ETA: Both very fine looking rifles, by the way.
