Getting ready to head out for the Christmas Eve Service shortly. Then it becomes real. Spent the day cleaning the house This will be the last Christmas like this for us. Next year we'll have a grand baby and my youngest will be deep in preparation for her wedding. I hope everyone has a great Christmas and there are a few new milsurps tales to tell afterwards.
Merry Christmas to all here and to those dispersed all around the world selflessly sacrificing there opportunity to spend time with family in the service of those countries who seek to bring peace to a world in turmoil. I always think of the 1914 Christmas truce at this time of year.
Any excuse for a game of football between England and Germany. I bet if you looked back in hisotry to that great match in no man's land they won on penalties AGAIN
God bless them all!!

Haven't seen that clip for sometime, guess Christmas Day was a huge relief to either side, the one that gets me is the story of the German Londoner.............. bit late for a Merry Christmas but wish everyone a Happy New Year.
