    Need help: Lee Metford parts

New member to this forum and I am on the hunt for a Lee Metford barrel band. I am putting a CCLE Lee Metford back together and have most of the parts except for the barrel band. I have a forestock, but it has been cut down and fitted to a 1945 SMLE made in India, which will be put back together at a later date.

I also need a butstock, but I think one from a No 4 can be used.

Any help would be appreciated and if a member may have one that they wish to depart with could you let me know? Thanks.

I think I'm really stuck, I got some stuff from Canadaicon, some more from New Zealandicon.....these I found on EBay. Conversed with two gents on another forum, but I think that sort of dried up. Can I PM you?

A No.4 butt stock will bolt right up.

I find my barrel bands on Ebay. NZicon and Oz are the usual source.

You will find that when you buy one part from a vendor, they will sometimes have other parts from that rifle.
