We are in Capel got Bunbury 26 k's North, Busso 27 k's South, Donnybrook 26 K's East and Forrest beach great fishing & easy as for a 4WD beach 10 k's West we are within walking distance of the Capel river with Redfin perch (good chewing they are) Trout & Marron there are rumors we have mud crabs in there as well eggs may have come down on the Leeuwin current but I have not seen any.
I like Caves road on the bike high speed twisties just gotta watch the wine tasters coming out of the wineries.
I did allot of pile driving on the Busso Jertty in 1992 refurbing complete sections was there about 3-4 months see out of focus pic of me slinging a pile, the tower & gantry behind me built by hand & a bob cat, the air operated hammer is 4 tonnes there was lots of chain block work.
My station was up on top off the gantry at the back on the air winch controlling the hammer, sitting it on-top of the pile after each hit was pretty rough if they dropped the hammer with out it sitting on the pile.
