I have a substitute sizes which was put together by a chap with over 30 years exp working on these, they will work well but if your a purest as he says then you will have to source the correct tap/die.
He suggests on the chart I have a .25 x 30 TPI (Tap & Die 1/4 x 30)**
** = BSW British Standard Whitworth

I think you mean BSB, not BSP that is British Standard Pipe and is pretty big.
Both BSF(British Standard Fine) and BSB(British Standard Brass) are both 26TPI
