    (RU 15) ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 27-- BAYONET PRACTICE IN ROCHESTER-- National Guardsmen practice use of the bayonet today at their campsite in Rochester where they have been assigned to help keep the peace. Guard was alerted last night after three day of rioting in the city.

    •The riots began during a party on Nassau Street, near Joseph Avenue, on July 24, 1964.
    •5 people were killed and 350 people were injured during the riots.
    •450 state troopers and 1,500 National Guard troops came in to restore order.
    •The city began returning to normal by July 27, and by Aug

    during the riots a dealer friend was behind his counter at night with two LEO's to prevent them from helping themselves at the gun shop
