    Enfield Enforcer Transit Case

Hi, is anyone able to post some photos of the transit case for the Enforcer. I seem to recall that there was a metal one and a wooden one however I have not been able to find any photos. It would be good to see some internal and external photos if possible, many thanks, Steve

There were a variety of transit cases depending on what the individual police departments wanted. Mine is a black paint, crackle finish, aluminum case made in Franceicon if memory serves. I'm not sure about the wooden ones.

    Steve,
I have to say, my ENFORCER whilst in the Police, (was housed in the new kids on the block PELI case,) but they did originally arrive in the metal cases known to house the PARKER HALE M85.
I have the measurements for those if it helps and you can get the foam cut real easy once you have the lay out of the bits and pieces around the rifle!!

I also had the steel case, black crackle finish paint, I think the maker was Arco, Frenchicon as has been said. It had a red velvet type lining with a matching full length divider made of the same red velvet material. I'll see if I have pics, but I doubt it.

When the Enforcers were old off as surplus the only cases that were with them were hand made wooden cases, all with the rifle laying flat.
Some had small compartments for accessories...unknown as to what they were for however, other than the Harris bipod.
Of the 25 or so I inspected none had more than the plywood chest.

The one I formerly owned, no 007, had a fitted wood chest.

    Hi Steve,
A few years ago I was contemplating the purchase of one that EFD rifles had for sale. It came with a transit case. Picture attached. (credit EFD - not my pic.) P.s. it was number 498, not 233 as shown on the case.

Thanks guys, the reason I asked is that I picked up a metal case with beige insert, looks like it may have been green but painted black and externally is exactly the same one in desperatedans post but without the compartments for mags, bipod etc and my enforcer fits perfectly. I know the Enforcer was a police sniper rifle but was it ever issued to the Services, something like RAF Regiment etc?

Mine is in a metal case similar to the one shown, but this one has no partitions or inserts for accessories. It is lined in red velvet fabric. The metal is painted in a black crinkle finish, with silver/nickle latches.
