    Smith Corona 03A3

    Hi Everyone

This Rifle has been in my safe for a few years and I would like to get any Info. on it I can.
I Appreciate the help everyone gives me. I think the stock has been sanded at some point the stamps and cartouche are faint.

Looks like a correct SC from what I can see from your pictures.

Just one minor nit pick. The BP marked bolt sleeve is a Bay products WW11 replacement part.
An original S/C will be marked with a G inside the ears when removed. Easy replacement for a very nice rifle.

The mark "cc" denotes Commercial Controls. Smith-Corona bought all but the receiver from suppliers. I have never seen a list of who made what, but many of the suppliers have been identified. The pinned stock looks to be too early for the high number SC rifle, a replacement?
