Now it looks to be more of a blue color than green

This is closer to the blue I'm used to seeing on incendiary. That's a Denver headstamp so I'd assume US issue.

EDIT: Anyone ever light one of these off? Any fireworks?

I think incendiary also. I had a few that came from Israel and I pounded them at hard targets at 100/200m with neat KA-Booming results. Also a flash with a puff...like the spotters we talked about... Wish I'd thought to go buy a small propane tank, fill and shoot from cover at 200. That would have been epic.

Kind of like the recruit instructor I overheard telling a recruit that it was the red tip on the bullet that glowed when a tracer went downrange...

So the bad guy can see it and get out of the way. How considerate!

They were used for lighting Japaneseicon Zero gas tanks on fire by early U.S. involvement dive bombers and P40's. No self-sealing tanks in Zeros. Also used for light other stuff on fire too.
"...I overheard..." Militia MCpl? Over heard a militia guy telling a buddy, on the old Cold Creek Conservation Area range, an FN was impossible to shoot left handed. Asked him how I managed to shoot expert with one left handed.
    Spelling and Grammar count!

Nope, reg force permanent staff instructor at the battle school. Just a young one is all...accelerated promotion type... He turned out ok. The recruit later released and became a...male exotic dancer...

The militia inexactitudes were mind boggling...
