91° Adunata Alpini Trento

Hi everybody,
tomorrow a very special thing will start, the yearly meeting of the Italian Mountain Troops.
From Friday to Sunday 600.000 Alpini are expected to take part.
No mistake gentlemen, 600.000 (six hundred thousand).
I know it is something not really known outside Italy, but it is an unbelievable happening.
Former Alpini from all over the world will take part. People coming from New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, the U.S. of A, Canada, Europe, Asia........
That is the best part of a wonderful Country meeting in peace.
The city will be cleaner than ever already on Monday morning, because the Alpini are just like that.
The vast majority of all volunteers in the Italian Civil Protection service come from the ranks of the Alpini, just to give you an idea.
I'll cut it short before someone will start getting too bored, but I just want to cry out loud: VIVA GLI ALPINI!!!
Am I proud to be one of them or not?
