    NRA Sporter Krag??

Well, reckon I'll have to blame usabaker for this one. He started that thread a while back about a cut down Kragicon on GunBroker. I mentioned there I had one like it on my wish list.

    Well, dangit, 'Baker.

So, here it is! Reminds me of the NRA sporter 1903s. Has the same lines and buttplate.
    Either way, sure is pretty!

About the only thing I would improve, for my tastes, is a peep sight with target knobs. Might have to find one for it.

I get blamed all the time, but I don't mind getting blamed for this one, she's beautiful I love the butt of the stock too, unique. Congrats on the new addition.

Very nice looking rifle, wonder who did the stock? Bishop? I had a chance at a NRA type sporter Kragicon once, no paper so we'll never know, should have but didn't. That one make me regret it more.

Those pictures are from the Gunbroker auction.
It seems just too nice not to have a name on it somewhere. You'd think the gunsmith would want to mark this one.
I think I'll know more when I have it in my hands.
Personally, (and since it would be easy enough to find on GunBroker, I'm not afraid to share) I think it was a hell of a deal at $402 including shipping. It's a keeper, that's for sure.

Definitely a very beautiful and well done 'sportered' Kragicon.

Your Redfield (#102-K) receiver-sight is a lot more convenient for bolt removal for cleaning than the micrometer version.

    That’s a good note. Thanks!
I’ve looked a little and they’re certainly not cheap where you can find them!
For me it’s an aesthetic thing anyway. I think the knobs are neat. I don’t think I’d actually use them that much, haha.

Looking forward to the targets...and maybe more pics. Yes, it's sweet.
    Regards, Jim
