Deactivated Barrells

I’ve no connection to WWA but I thought I’d mention that they are now selling Spare barrels for your Bren box and barrel bag.

Well, well, well. I wasn’t expecting that to happen.

I’m intending to go there on Tuesday and will investigate. It would be nice to get a Mk2 barrel if the price is right.

I was putting a deposit on another section 7.1 pistol (French 8mm 1892 revolver) and the dealer mentioned Bren Barrels, he had a barn full but couldn't do much with them at the time so they were used as re bar in his foundations.......

I believe the original problem with the WWA barrels was that the Birmingham Proof House would certify them but the London Proof House wouldn't. Presumably they've now agreed a common spec within the new rules.

Hypothetical question: would my non-current spec deact Bren barrel count as 'defectively deactivated'? I don't think the legal wording mentions component parts.

WWA have done these in a limited quantity before, about 4 or 5 years ago.
