Reloading "NT" brass.

My local pistol range produces a steady supply of "lost" brass.

Most of it is once-fired 9mm Para and most of that is the usual FC, Win, Geco, RP, etc.

However, there is a steady littering of FC and Win "NT" 9mm brass.

The BIG difference with this stuff is the flash hole is substantially larger than "regular" brass. Thus, it may get more than "interesting' to load it with the usual fast-burning powders ignited by traditional primers, of which I have a few.

So, in the interest of wasting not, has anyone played around with SLOW (by pistol standards) powders and heavier (147gn +) bullets in this brass?

Might be just the thing for short-range silhouette and bowling pin shooting. I can't afford to buy or run a .454 Cassul, anyway.
