If you are in need of carbine ammo, Natchez has Aguila in stock, 174 boxes in stock, $19.71 a box.

Aguila was the lowest-powered ammo in the chrono log on the old board, IIRC. I actually like most Aguila ammo, but have never bought any for the carbine because the speed was so low. I believe it was 100-200 fps low. In other words, it's not Mil Spec ammo.

I just checked, it's gone. Too bad, Aguila in the hand would have been preferable to Remington on back order.

Personally I always found Aguila accurate and to cycle reliably. It is lower powered than mil spec but that just meant I had to bump the sight on my carbine up one click to maintain my zero. I sure would have ordered if it had been in stock.

Natchez sold about 10,000 rounds in 24hrs. Aguila is good ammo but like Inland44 said it is slower. Most people shoot there carbines at 100yds or closer so not a big deal at those ranges. Members have been posting they are unable to find carbine ammo in their area and when they do find it prices are around $30-$35 a box. Just thought I would give a heads up.
