WW2 Luftwaffe Contract Hungarian P-37's.....4 to compare.

I really like these Femaru (FEG) made P-37 Wartime Luftwaffe Contract 7.65 pistols.
(1941 Contract)

They are like baby 1911's.....nice grip and feel, grip safety, and an added thumb safety on the ones made under German "cooperation".
I am not an expert on these, just like them....here are some brief details....
This model continued to be made during the war, but the 1941 version is of the most interest to me. There was a 1941 Luftwaffe contract for about 50,000 pistols for the Femaru (FEG) plant code/year jhv41.
There were subvariants within the contract and apparently the first 4000 were considered the early deliverable.
The main differences between earlier groups and later pistols were in the markings on the slide.....earlier are marked;
Pistole M 37 Kal. 7,65 mm.
The balance of the contract were marked
P. Mod. 37 Kal. 7,65.
Left to right by production in the group of 3.

I have shown in the group pic an original Hungarian issued Femaru ( FEG ) at the bottom that is in the original .380 cal. and probably made in late 1940 or early 1941.
It does not have the thumb safety feature specified for all the German contract pistols that were only in 7.65 ( .32 Auto ) instead of the original Hungarian Army .380 spec.

They are fun to shoot and you can actually hit something unlike my '34 Mausers!!
