Bogus?
Speaking of ABL scopes: Luxembourg FN49 Semiauto Sniper Rifle Forgotten Weapons
Given the differences in tube diameter between the Patt 18 (.875") and the ABL, the rings would have to have been "custom made" OR "re-engineered" from possibly German "commercial" inter-war rings.

Alternately it should be a fairly simple matter to ream 7/8" rings to 1"... and the HT mount drawings have been available for years.
But Wow! There is a lot of fake/fraudulent stuff showing up in Italy for quite a few years now.

Reaming those .875" rings out to 1" or 26mm would leave them "wafer-thin" I would reckon.
However, modern repros MADE to take 1" tubes would be a different proposition.

Unfortunately it's true. Maybe a shooter build a "sniper" fior himself, then someone else buy it and try to sell ot as an original.
A few days ago an "Italian" Lee-Enfield sniper was for sale; it wasn't an original "Italian Lee-Enfield sniper", but a fake. The price was a quite low and within 15 days it was, unfortunately, sold.
