Always difficult to find a VZ 33 carbine, I think the most common are the 7mm from South America. You might find a bolt but the 33/40 bolt is also rare !
Many years ago I saved a dot 41 33/40 that was going to be made into a sporter. All matching but missing the unique front sight cover, much later my
friend Tom-in-NJ found one for me. I always fired 8mm Remington hunting cartridges which had a lot less recoil than German 7,92mm. There was even
a folding stock 33/40 too

Yeah, someday I’d like to have a g33/40 as well.
As far as the South American versions, most of the ones I’ve seen have 22” barrels. And of course they are 7mm like you said.
I wonder if there were ever any g33/40s with sniper scopes?

Norway Rail Roads System still has a few G33/40's. My carbine has a mean kick with German WWII 8mm. I can't guess what the German troops did in combat.

33/40 carbine
I found these photos years ago, apparently a few 33/40 carbines had this folding stock. Quite rare and doubt any were issued for service ?Attachment 99555Attachment 99556

I'm just guessing, but they were for Paratroopers? Anybody know for sure?

G. 33/40 carbines
I thought these were for mountain/skiAttachment 99659Attachment 99660 troops because of the metal plate on the butt ? I
suppose paratroops could have used them too ?
My dot 41 has all matching parts, barrel is dated 12-41
