Lithgow High and Low Sniper Rifles

Sorry, I couldn't resist ... since Australiaicon had to dispense four Lithgow sniper rifles which I bought there and was just successful in bringing them over to Europe, I had to put them aside of the single rifle I already had to make a group picture of all of them since you hardly ever see that many in one place (I'd however almost bet there are quite a few in here who can "outbid" me).

Find attached pictures of all five rifles and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

    Awesome collection of Australianicon snipers...

what can you tell us about the differences between them?

is one of the Low Mounts a conversion from Medium mounts? 1 each FTR / non-FTR?

    pre-war barrel(s) / war-time / post-war ?

They were bought prior Christmas, just took some time to get them .. and according to my girlfriend it shouldn‘t hurt me too much to have a few days of only water and bread .

I don‘t know much on them. All of these are listed by Skennertonicon. One is even twice listed, with storage date as well as FTR. And how would I know if a medium was converted to a low? Still hope to learn on those.

    Georg, absolutely fantastic!

I've never seen so many in one place before.
Will any of these be moving on again mate?
