Bit of a battered *Laminate stock there! That said, the other parts needed are all out there, perhaps try Brian Dick (of this parish) for the missing bits.

I think you have made the right decision with the SMLE, unless you can get hold of a cheap shot out example as a parts donor of course.

That said, you will find getting the K98 back into stock WW2 shooting trim a lot easier, SMLE's are all individual and require a lot of patience and hand fitting to get them shooting well, a real labour of love.

NB * Laminate or Walnut are both correct, they were swapped between rifles all the time. As a 1943 built rifle, yours probably came out of the factory with Laminate woodwork fitted.
