    Reising model 65 ammo

Bought a very nice example of one of these recently. Need to know if it is okay to shoot high velocity ammunition in it or stick with standard velocity. The Hammer spring and the spring for the cocking mechanism have both replaced with new.
    Thanks for any help>

In older 22s, I stick with standard velocity. It’s cheap insurance.

'65 is built like a brick outhouse. It'll take anything you throw in her as long as you do your due diligence , clean, inspect and replace any funky parts.
I've got a half dozen of these beauties, even the saddest one is ticking away like a swiss watch :-)

I wouldn't think you could easily hurt one of those...
