BRNO, Persian Mauser, 98/29, 1934, Serial Number Sequeences
The serial numbers are on the left side of the receiver ring written in Persian Farsi Script. I assume the original sequences were agreed upon between The BRNO Arsenal and The Persian Army. Now there are secondary assigned sequences in English like (R8737 as an example). These are also printed on the under side of the barrel muzzle area. What is the origin of these secondary English sequences ? Were they created by an "Export/Import Company", perhaps ?
