How cool is that? Proof of concept and or inspiration for the space shuttle ferry 747 perhaps.

I agree with you, a really neat photo, the Short Bros built a lot of seaplanes even before WW2. Thanks to my friend Tom-in-NJ for locating
the information for me RCS
