eBayUK goes Deutsch?

I've noticed after several periods of browsing at German militaria on eBayUK for a while some of of my eBay account seems to switch to German language. I've recently been looking at German army surplus Flecktarn webbing sets, for example, but only from UK vendors.

I haven't tried searching for Mongolian or Chinese, for example and no disrespect intended, army webbing sets just to see what would happen.

Why would an eBayUK account switch to German language just because I was looking at German items? I did tap in "Flecktarn" because, as far as I know there isn't an exact English equivalent; if I had used "DPM", the results would have probably mostly not been German kit. Did the use of a German word on eBayUK make it switch to German language or was it because I was looking at German webbing?

It is not really a problem but it just seems strange and I wondered why it does this sometimes? Has anyone else noticed something similar on eBay?
