    Kerr No Buckle Sling

    Hi all,

Just picked up a Kerr sling. What details do I need to be looking for to evaluate authenticity?

This one will be placed on my 1917...definitely a keeper regardless.

Fun story on it, I found it on a Frenchicon 1907-15. Sold the rifle with a profit of $30.45. So basically I was paid to purchase this sling

These pictures from the auction are pretty crappy. I can get some better ones this evening.

    Thanks in advance!

If I recall correctly the early ones came in two lengths for the 1903 & 1917 and had the Kerr No-Buckle logo on the hooks. The later Thompson SMG ones are shorter and lack the logo.

The hooks all have the logo.
That illustration is fantastic. Thanks for sharing that!

Looks good to me. Finding them as new or NOS isn't that hard still.

Sweet sweet sweet. Now to decide which lucky rifle gets to wear it!
