    Winchester model 17 bayonet

Anyone know where I can find a bayonet for my model 17 for something resembling a reasonable price? Picked up a very nice Winchester recently and want a bayonet and scabbard for it. Doesn't need to be Winchester marked.

There are plenty of US Model 1917 bayonets on Ebay. However a reasonable price is subjective. Most run in the $200 range with top specimens asking over $600! You might get lucky with an auction but the buy it now prices are crazy.

Those prices are crazy. I'm sure I can find a decent one for a lot less. They are pretty common.

Finally found a Remington at a gun show today. $125 with the scabbard, in nice shape! Didn't walk away from that one. Got a nice condition original leather sling too for $20! All it needed was a good coat of Pecard's. And I went there looking for carbine parts???? You never know do you???
