280 ross chamber and cartridge dimensions

Does anyone have any drawings of the 280 ross chamber and cartridge?

Sorry nothing there. Did multiple searches even using 280 nitro express (Rimless) so if it is on the web some place I cannot find it. I have the bible but some of the numbers are a little blurry for cartridge dimensions. The book also doesn't show chamber dimensions.

This is a little clearer than the book. More generic measurements though.

Try the Canadianicon Patent Office or maybe the U.S. Patent Office.

    Excellent! Just what I needed.

Do you have a source for the files you provided? I wouldn't mind purchasing a copy.

Found the website. Good info there for old calibers!

I've always found Commission Internationale Permanente (CIP) very useful - and its free. The Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute (SAAMI) charges for the service.

"...(SAAMI) charges for the service..." SAAMI specs are on-line for free. Click on 'Technical Information' then 'Cartridge and Chamber Drawings, then Rifle, etc. Opens as a .pdf. Right click and print.
The .280 Ross probably isn't there as that though. Might be as the .280 Nitro Express. Didn't look.
