United States artillery ammunition, Published 1917 3"-6"

3 to 6 in. shrapnel shells, 3 to 6 in. high explosive shells and their cartridge cases.
A shop guide: Covering measurements, production steps, Marking locations, etc.

Thought this might be handy with all the interest lately.
Still looking for a list of Projectile Suppliers and their Marking codes.
    Be sure to zoom in.

Thanks for posting that. It makes me need to ID the timed fuse I have as a paper weight. I've always wanted to know what it went on. My fuse is more pointed than those you usually see in pictures. Brass. Not including the threads it's 3 5/8" tall and 3" wide. Marked model of 1914-15. Someone one told me it was a 31 sec fuse.
