    Type 30 Bayonet Identification

I have a Type 30 Bayonet that I can not figure out the numbers are in location different from any I have seen. Can any of the knowledgeable people help me out with identification and possible dating?

    Welcome to the Forum.

What size is that muzzle ring hole, please? I wonder if it's been made to fit something else because my 2 type 30 bayonet examples don't have that catch in the cross piece? However my examples are later ones with "square" pommels.

Japaneseicon Type 35 Bayonet. It's a modified Type 30 bayonet with a spring catch to hold it in the scabbard.

These were made for the Navy ca. 1902-05. The Type 35 rifle was superseded by the Type 38 rifle in 1905, so they discontinued production of the Type 35 bayonet as well.
