Clint Smith's Favorite Firearm is ??

You'll have to read most of the article to find out - but it's a good read! - Bob

After he states his favorite, he goes on to say:

" In my mind’s eye, it was the last true example of American industrial might coming together for a common goal, to fight a common enemy. I’m not saying that war is great, but it was a common enemy at that time."

"Everyone chipped in, in the span of four years there were more than 6 million made."

Now fast forward nearly 80 years. I have no doubts that the American service men and woman would stand tall.
But I often wonder if Joe and Jane public in todays USAicon could or would put forward the same effort as those from 80 years prior. When taking in to account everything like rationing, buying bonds, scrap metal/rubber collections.... etc. I hope we never need to find out...... but I fear most are not as strong or be willing to sacrifice to the same level.

I agree wholeheartedly with his choice. The firearm I carry, and is in my camper as I write this, to supplement my pistol is the same one. Mine have never failed to go bang, with acceptable accuracy when asked.
