    wooden .22 trainer lee enfield box ?

    any idea what the value of a wooden case for a lee enfield .22 trainer in great condition??

    At gun shows in Ontario they sell for between $50-100 depending on condition and if they have all their little wooden inserts.

    I have seen them on auction sites with descriptions aluding that they could be No.4 T chests, trhey went for ridiculous prices. Sniper chests they were not, they were maded for the No.7 .22 cal Cadet rifle. Sniper rifle chests are very similar but are a couple of inches taller to accomadate the scope mounted on the rifle which makes it taller in the box. I have seen one of these No.7 chests converted by adding wood. Once painted up, it looked excellent.

    Don't know the price north of the border, but down south, in the $200.00 range. Ebay can give you a pretty good idea of the high end....
