    AKM bayonet ID

Trying to ID country of manufacture of this AKM type 1 bayonet. No markings anywhere that I can find. Strange handle composition of mixed brown colors! Anyone able to ID.

Looks Romanian at first glance to me, I expect the handle is normal but aged/worn, that looks like phenolic resin and the fibers used show more easily when the surface is aged and worn. Any pics (or any markings) on the scabbard?

Pics of scabbard. Also, no markings to be seen on scabbard.

You might try cross posting to the bayonet section. More knowledgeable specialists might know there.
