Found a holster in a trash pile.

I strongly dislike and have colorful language when illegal trash dumpers come to mind. I was cleaning up some trash some one dumped near my property and I saw this in the trash pile. At first I thought it was an part of an old boot or shoe, but picking it up it was an old holster.
It was dried out but I have been soaking it in oil to bring it back to life. The stitching is pulled out on the back of it for the belt loop but that can be fixed. But over all its not in terrible shape.
It's marked Hunter 56M. Other than that I don't know much about it or if I'm missing any parts of it. Googling it there was one that was similar to it but not the same. Any one seen one of these before?

Side note. It took 8 kitchen trash bags, 4 medium boxes to clean up the mess that was dumped off. Their mother should have taught them better.
