    Federal Target .22 LR

I went in to a chain store named Dick's Sporting Goods. While they had both Remington & Winchester bulk packed .22s in stock, they also had some bricks of Federal "Target" .22 LR. These are packed in boxes of 50 & have a 40 gr bullet with standard velocity. The box didn't say, but I imagine they are lubed & not plated. They were moderately priced at $25/500.

I'd not seen this Federal Target .22 LR before. Does anyone have experience with it?

I picked up a brick of Federal Champion Target at Dick's about two years ago & couldn't find much info on it. The product number was not the same as what they listed on the Federal site for target ammo. I e-mailed their cutomer service & got the response that it was from a lot of ammo which used Champion components but QC samples indicated a wider velocity spread than that allowed for the "good stuff".
It shot fine out of my $40 Remington 582.
