So a couple years ago I bought a beat up 1942 Longbranch Lee Enfield No4. The stock was shrunk and the barrel turned out to be trashed but I got it cheap so no worries there. I decided that since the barrel and stock couldn't be saved I would salvage the reciever and get it turned into a repro sniper. I contacted Brian Dick who recommended Bruce Dow for the conversion work. Dow replaces the barrel with a Criterion, mounted the pads (from Fulton in the U.K.), and collminated the bracket (from Roger Payne). He also refinished the metal parts before sending it to Brian Dick who did the wood fitting. The end result is nothing short of beautiful!!!

I’m hoping to get out to the range this weekend to break her in and I’m considering getting a repro scope (for now I just have it topped with a K3) but I’m thrilled with how it turned out.Information
