    Found these

I got these the other day and must admit as I collect packets and cartridges I have not seen these before. The MkI is dated 24.8.43 and the MkII is dated 24.1.66 pretty weird having the same dated day!.
I have a Civic High Velocity packet thats D/|\D and a full plain white packet of .22 used by the military but have like I said not seen 100 round packets before.
The actual cost of getting them here from the U.K cost 10 times the winning bid but hey they are here now and part of my collection very happy with them.

As long as one is happy, the money is not a problem. The real value is what something is worth to you, so...good buy Cinders!

    Cinders,
Trouble is I was given some 7.62 Green Spot in their original box, you NEVER want to open it and spoil the value of provenance!!

Sadly due to the regulations for postage they are empty I like full packets but these are nice, here is a couple that are full I got 80 rounds of the Winchester from a fellow collector and from another friend some 118 its not an easy task here to collect this type of munitions our laws are very strict even as licensed as I am there are restrictions on what we are allowed to collect.
I should post and share some of my collection of empty and full packets as some of them are quite nice a few are pretty rare.

Fascinating stuff Ron, I was after an original 1940's box of M1icon Carbine ammo the other week (£50).

100 rounds sealed in original packaging, someone beat me to it, bought the box with the intention of cutting them down and resizing the cases for a garden gun of some sort....

I didn't see the funny side of that one!

    12Ga

Here is a very rare and early MT 12Ga Remington packet of it's circa I'm not sure of but if someone can assist that would be nice, however there is something of note about this packet see if you can figure it out.

    22 INCH MARK 2

I have or should say had 500 rounds of the 22 INCH MARK 2 dated 3 - 1- 79. One of the boxes split opened. I now had the excuse to shoot some of these rounds, while not target cartridges, they seem to shooAttachment 104508t as well as the CCI standard velocity. Do not know if really a collectors item or not but I will save most of it.
