    11mm Mauser cartride headstamp help

    I recently purchased two 11mm Mauser cartridges dated to 1887, they have the roman numeral for 2 at 12 o'clock and C at 6 o'clock, I cant seem to find what both of these mean, any help is appreciated.

    So if you dead set reckon they are definitely Mauser rounds then the C = Munitionsfabrik Cassel, Cassel, Germanyicon
