Yeah they are all out but with tropical cyclones up Nth Qld and we have one up North in W.A at present thankfully the fires are out. But as stated it has had a devastating affect on our people those that lost loved ones, homes infrastructure, whole herds of animals and our wild life they are saying we may have lost up to a billion of them it will remain unknown.
There has been all sorts of theories profered by lots to the Govt seeding the zones with magnesium/aluminium dust and so on from chaff on and on it goes, if the arsonists are caught well yes dress them up in a chute that 1/2 opens then drop them into the heart of the conflagration so they get a good view what they are dropping into but have no control of the chutes direction, hopefully the impact won't kill'em and they will fry nicely.

I think it gets back to the controlled burns more has to be done to reduce the fuel loads if control was given back to the indigenous folk they have had 0000's of years doing it the N.T certainly does not have the ferocity in their fires as the traditional people do the reduction burns.
Sadly a bum fight has erupted with the donations that one celebrity organised think it was 50 or 90 million to go to all the VFB firies over east for new and more equipment but somewhere it was lost in translation and taken that the victims would get it its in the courts now I'm not following it only going off the T.V news.
