According to my notes that I have on them, it says the only stamping inside the shoe is U.S.iconA. No79. 8C and it is stamped inside the arches. If there are other markings, then they are too faded for me to read on my example. I have to refer to my notes at the moment because my service shoes and my double buckle combat boots are at the bottom of a large safe filled with nothing but my world war II gear collection. It would take me a little while to get down to them digging, but if no one else on the forums has a pair that they can look at, I will do my best to dig them out in a timely manner and post close up pictures of the insides of my service shoes if it is seriously needed to help. I have attached a picture of my safe to show you what I'm dealing with ha ha ha. Everything is wrapped in protective bags. According to my notes, the only official military marking that is having to do with my pair is on the war department repair tag that is still Tied to them.
