    Peabody-Martini model 1874

I have been offered one of these rifles which was converted in 7.62x54r to use the ammunition supplied by the Sovieticon Union in support of the Turks during the Greco-Turkish war (1919-1922). I can find no reference to this modification anywhere on the web.
I'm told that the rifle is in fairly good condition with a serviceable bore and comes complete with it's original bayonet!
