Wilkinson hooked Quillion on Joe Salter for $1995.00

I see that Joe Salter has a early Wilkinson hooked quillion with the AC marked scabbard for sale at $1995.00 US.

I have had mine for almost twenty years now, nice example and marked to the 39th Foot Dorsetshire Regiment. Here are photos of my example also with A. Cooper scabbardAttachment 105165Attachment 105166Attachment 105167

Joe's always high but they are getting pricey. They usually are marked to a guards regiment if they're UKicon blades and this one doesn't appear to be. That would make it scarce comparatively...

That had something to do with the bayonet going overseas in the 1920's some one may be able to explain that, my 1921 Lithgowicon '07 has the same on its scale.
