Squid Load Smith and Wesson Barrel

    Hi all,

I bid on and won a nice looking Smith and Wesson barrel. It was 38 Special, probably from a Model 10.

When it arrived I noticed a distinct bulge.

...so I performed an autopsy with interesting results!

There was actually one more jacket in there that came out while milling.
It’s interesting to me that the fella had to get one bullet stuck, empty the cylinder, reload, and continue firing!

Not even remotely an isolated incident it seems... Hoping you meant SQUIB...

    Haha, yes, SQUIB. Whoops.

I had seen pictures like this before. It's neat to see it in person.

I did actually buy this barrel with hopes of reselling. I think I'll end up getting more out of it as a paperweight, though, so I'm happy!

Yes, sitting on your desk will also cultivate conversation from shooters and gun guys you wouldn't suspect otherwise.
