Musket Indentification Help Please

I have a musket that was passed to me. I know nothing about it and I was wondering if anyone would be so kind in identifying the marking and who issued it and what Regiment it was issued. I believe it to be British with the GR stamp.

I have attached some photographs.

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
