    Mitten shell trigger finger M1951

I have had these gloves a long time, they had been issued to me. The pair shown has the inside glove also with the trigger finger. This pair is dated 1952. Not worth a lot just nice to have them.Attachment 106939Attachment 106940

I remember seeing them in a surplus store in London Ontario when I was a kid and asking my WW2 vet dad what they were for...he explained. Then I was issued a set years later. I didn't use them much if at all because they weren't too warm and we had other things that suited purpose better. I didn't miss them when I came to turn in time, they were almost unused at the end. I'm pretty sure mine were dated about the same, Korea issue.
    Regards, Jim
